On April 13, 2021, celebrations were held at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of The International Alliance Of BRICS Strategic Projects, the launch of the BRICS International Federation of Intellectual Games and the world premiere of the elite BRICS chess game Fatum, with a tournament attended by 8 international FIDE grandmasters.
The ambassadors of the BRICS countries and other friendly states, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in BRICS S.A. Ryabkov, the Minister of Sports of Russia O.V. Matytsin, the multiple world chess champion A.E. Karpov, the Governor of the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass S.E. Tsivilev and many other honored guests highly appreciated the potential of the intellectual sports game “Fatum", developed in Russia on the basis of the International Intergovernmental Organization "International Scientific Research Institute of Management Problems". From 2008 to 2021, 62 experts from 17 countries participated in the development of the game.
Since the launch, personal and public presentations of the Fatum game have been held for representatives of the diplomatic corps, government authorities, business and chess communities from 82 countries around the world.
Currently, the projects "Intellectual Sports" and "Intellectual Tourism" are being implemented in a pilot mode in the Voronezh Region with the direct patronage of the Governor of the region, A.V. Gusev, and the support of the United Russia Party.
