The delegation of the BRICS Alliance led by Larisa Zelentsova met with the authorities of Burkina Faso to sign several cooperation agreements in various fields.

BRICS Alliance in Burkina Faso: Captain Traore says yes to a multipolar world.
The delegation, which has been in Ouagadougou since Saturday 10 June 2023, was received on Monday 12 June 2023 by the Transitional President, Captain Ibrahim Traore.
“We are creating a representative office of the International BRICS Strategic Projects Alliance in Burkina Faso, which will work on certain sectors, and the main axes will be determined by the president of the transition,” said Larisa Zelentsova, president of the BRICS International Strategic Projects Alliance. The areas of cooperation envisaged between the BRICS countries and Burkina Faso will relate to economic, infrastructure, energy, humanitarian and cultural development. During the reception, President of the Transitional Period, Head of State Captain Ibrahim Traore was awarded the BRICS International Alliance of Strategic Projects medal by the President of the BRICS International Strategic Projects Alliance Larisa Zelentsova for the struggle for the sovereignty of her country.
