In early June, a delegation from The International Alliance Of BRICS Strategic Projects paid a working visit to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The trip was held as part of the development of international trade and economic ties and the strengthening of partnership with the Mongolian side.
The delegation included Zargaryan Vazgen, Advisor to the President of BRICS International Alliance, and Artak Tamamyan, Head of BRICS International Alliance Trade Department.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of government authorities, the investment and business community. As part of the visit program, memoranda and cooperation agreements were signed with the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the trade representative of Shanghai. The official trade representative of BRICS International Alliance has signed an agreement on the intention to supply products of the Russian company Modnaya Confectionery LLC to Mongolia.
Additionally, during the visit, a comprehensive analysis of the Mongolian market was launched, focusing on logistical accessibility, consumer segments and export potential. Special attention was paid to strengthening ties with representatives of the business community and trade structures of the region.
Visits to strategic enterprises, meetings with investors, and acquaintance with the Beijing trade representative opened up additional prospects within the framework of the emerging architecture for the development of relations between the BRICS member countries.
"Mongolia is a wonderful country with caring, honest people. We see real points of synergy, and we are pleased to record the transition to a new level of work with our brotherly neighbor," Vazgen Zargaryan said at the end of the trip.
Special thanks go to the President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia, Tur-Od Lhagvazhav, the head of the Silk Investors Association, Enchtur Erdene-Ochir, our official representative in Mongolia, Galina Mazhig, and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Mongolia for their assistance, warm welcome, and constructive support to the delegation.
Ahead lies the practical implementation of the agreements reached, the deepening of economic ties and the development of new forms of trade and logistics partnership in the Eurasian space.
