On December 4, the 9th Hangzhou Global Entrepreneurs Forum was grandly opened in Hangzhou.
This forum was hosted by the Zhejiang Small and Medium Enterprises Association, the China International Economic and Technical Cooperation Promotion Association, and the China Asian Economic Development Association under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. The forum set up 5 sub-forums, including the Forum on High-quality Development of Corporate Brands Going Overseas, which lasted for 2 days.
The theme of this Hangzhou Global Entrepreneurs Forum is "New Quality Manufacturing, New Business Forms, New Future". It aims to gather the wisdom of global entrepreneurs, focus on "high-level opening, sharing cooperative development opportunities, and jointly promoting high-quality growth of the global economy", promote Chinese entrepreneurs to focus on Hangzhou, integrate into the global economy, build a global procurement commodity order generation platform, promote investment, trade, technology, capital, brand, talent "six globalization", and help China's high-quality economic development.
At the opening ceremony, a video speech by Larisa Zelentsova, President of the International Alliance of BRICS Strategic Projects, was played.
Academician Bai Chunli, former President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Jingmiao, former Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, and Si Jianmin, Vice Chairman of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Association, delivered speeches respectively.
At the forum on high-quality development of corporate brands going overseas, Zhang Hongming, former vice chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhu Jun, member of the party group and chief economist of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Li Shenggeng, president of the Greater China International Alliance of BRICS Strategic Projects, and Zhang Zhengyu, chairman of Lianlian Digital, delivered speeches respectively.
The forum attracted entrepreneurs and start-ups from more than 30 countries including Russia, Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Mexico, Australia, Germany, and more than 100 local government representatives from China, and more than 50 financial institutions. The number of entrepreneurs attending the opening ceremony exceeded 1,500, and the total number of participants in the sub-forums exceeded 10,000.
