Representative Office of MASP BRICS in West Africa

The President of the International Strategic Project Alliance Brix Larisa Zelentsova visited Senegal in the period from 09 to 14 October, 2022.
During the visit, the official signing of the agreement on the opening of the regional headquarters of the Brix International Alliance in Saint-Louis was held.
Preliminary meetings took place in Dakar from October 10 to 12 with the mayor of Saint-Louis, representatives of various authorities and economic operators, as well as a special envoy of the President of the Central African Republic, Minister Georges Guguey.
During the meetings, the programs of priority actions and urgent social projects were discussed, including such as the creation of a new city, including a special economic and financial zone, the construction of the port, the opening of the sea and air communication between the Senegal and the BRICS countries, as well as the construction of a technological university, and the restoration of restoration and the construction of schools and medical centers.
The implementation of this program is supported by a special development fund in the amount of 200 million US dollars and partnership capabilities to solve emergency social projects.
Also, during the visit, the possibility of obtaining higher education in Russia to students from Africa countries was discussed. The international alliance of strategic projects Brix expressed the intention to ensure comprehensive assistance in this matter, as well as in the issue of training African students and teaching their Russian language, referring to the successful many years of experience in such work.
A working session was also held with the participation of a special envoy of the President of the Central African Republic-Minister Georges Guugua and the president of the International Strategic Strategic Projects of Brix Larisa Zelentsova, during which the parties agreed on the placement of the alliance headquarters in the Central African Republic.
During these meetings, the prerequisites were created for the constant presence of the international alliance of the BRICS strategic projects in West and Central Africa, which will ensure the development of relations between the parties, increase trade with the countries of BRICS and Russia, in particular. The parties agreed that they will create special working contact groups to implement these areas of activity.
