On December 26, 2022, a meeting of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Catar state in the Russian Federation Ahmed Ben Ben Ben Jasim Al Tanya with the President of the International Strategic Strategic Projects Brix Larisa Nikolaevna Zelentsova and the President of the International Intellectual Games of BRICS Alexander Gennadievich Savoysky took place.
During the meeting, issues of development and strengthening of relations between the parties were discussed. According to the results of the meeting, its participants expressed a desire to hold joint events in the field of sports, culture, business both in Qatar and in Russia. The issue of holding a golf tournament, football, chess, and martial arts was discussed already in 2023.
During the events, a business forum and a cultural program, performances of artists, an exhibition of artists are planned. The ambassador accepted as a gift an exclusive set of intellectual and sports game "Fatum" and the Golden Fatum Cup. The discussion of the development prospects of the Fatum game on the territory of the state of Qatar also took place.
It was also decided to open the representative office of the international alliance of BRICS strategic projects in Qatar, which is a significant event and will serve as a powerful incentive for strengthening and developing relationships.
