Russian language in CAR

The Russian language has already been studied in the Tsar during the reign of former President Jean Bedel Bokassa. In 2019, he was again included in the high school curriculum, and from 2022/2023 the subject will become mandatory in universities.
From the next academic year, the Russian language will become mandatory for studying at universities of the Central African Republic (TsAB), reports the local edition of Corbeau News with reference to the president of Fosten Arkange toaader.
Students also study French, Spanish and Chinese universities, the report notes.
The Russian language will be studied from the first year of undergraduate to the magistracy. As Agency Ecofin reports with reference to the leadership of universities, curricula are now being developed. The agency notes that the initiative is part of the plan for the cooperation of Moscow and Bange.
